Hello Isabella Ann, sounds like you had a lovely March. How amazing that your family have a narrow boat. We have lots of canals where I live and a couple of years ago I had a wonderful holiday with friends on the Worcester canal, where we tackled the legendary Tardebigge locks! In March, I watched season one of Yellowstone; I enjoyed a comforting re-watch of Pride & Prejudice (2005); and I loved reading the classic novel, Rilla of Ingleside by L.M. Montgomery. If I have to some my March up it would be: 🌼💃🤒🎶🤒🎮📖

If you would like to know what else I read here is my monthly round-up: https://thebookwormchronicles.wordpress.com/2025/04/02/%f0%9f%93%9a-what-i-have-been-reading-march-2025-wwwwednesday/

Blessings, Jessica 💌

Hello Jessica, Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I hope you had a nice March and great choice of emojis too, though I spy a couple of 🤒 emojis. :(

Oh wow, that is cool that you have lots of canals near you and that you also went on a trip with your friends on their boat! I don't think we have journeyed down the Worcester canal yet, but I have had to tackle a fair amount of locks too on our journey down South. 😂 🚢

I loveeee the 2005 Pride and Prejudice too! Have you seen any of the other adaptations? 🍿

So glad to hear that you enjoyed "Rilla of Ingleside", I must give the Anne of Green Gables series another re-read at some point, as it has been a couple of years, as I do love them so. 🥰 I spotted your Reading Round Up pop into my inbox the other day, I look forward to giving it a read!

All the best for April 2025 and happy reading! 📚

The only other adaptation of Pride & Prejudice I have seen is the 1995 BBC series, starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, which I also love 🥰

Yes! I so enjoyed Dead Poets Society and it is definitely a new favourite of mine. I just loved all of the bits of poetry shared throughout the movie, the autumnal views and the characters. It would be a perfect movie to watch in the Autumn! 🍂✨

Have a lovely April!
